Published: 31 May 2024
The Local Audit and Accountability Act 2014 and the Accounts and Audit Regulations 2015 require that:
- The accounting records for Tiffield Parish Council, relating to the financial year 2023 – 2024, to which the annual audit relates and all books, deeds, contracts, bills, vouchers, receipts and other documents relating to those records must be made available for inspection by any person interested, during a period of 30 working days set by Tiffield Parish Council.
- The period referred to above starts with the day on which the period for the exercise of public rights is treated as having been commenced, in this case the 3rd June 2024 and will last until the 12th July.
- During this time any interested person may ask to examine the above mentioned documents.
- To do this they should contact the Clerk on 01327 323195 or by email at clerk@tiffieldparishcouncil.gov.uk
- Requests to inspect the documents will be dealt with as soon as is practicable and will be made by agreement of the Clerk and the applicant.
