Dear Residents,

Tiffield Annual Parish Meeting 6th April 7.30pm – Impact of Coronavirus

The above meeting is an opportunity for the Parish Council to meet with our local and county Councillors, with the Police and with representatives from the village church and school. It is also an opportunity for various groups from within our community to present a report in respect of their activities over the past 12 months and should they wish to do so, their plans for the coming year.

In recent years, due to the number of attendees, such meetings have been held in the school hall.

Sadly, this year, in line with Government guidelines and advice we will be holding a ‘virtual’ meeting by way of the internet and an application called Zoom.

As such, our meeting is restricted to 40 minutes.

However, all the reports that have been prepared by those who would normally have attended are currently available to read on this page.

As with any Parish Council meeting, the annual parish meeting is a public meeting and members of our community are encouraged to attend. As we holding a ‘virtual’ meeting you are still welcome to log into the meeting on the 6th April.

If you wish to do so then please contact the Clerk via any of the methods as listed above and I will forward you a link which will allow you to log in.

If you don’t want or feel able to log into the meeting but have a question you’d like to raise with the Parish Council and have addressed at the Annual Parish Meeting, then again, please contact me in advance of the meeting and I will ensure that the matter is put before the Parish Council before or during the above mentioned meeting.

Your co-operation and assistance during these unprecedented and difficult times is much appreciated.

Yours Sincerely

Andy Tennet

Clerk to Tiffield Parish Council
