West Northamptonshire Council have agreed that the original local plan which has led to planning applications from IM Properties and DHL amongst others, was poorly drafted and needed supplementary planning guidance.
The Parish Council has replied to the consultation, saying that the guidance should include limits to the size and height of buildings and a joined-up traffic planning strategy. At the moment, each application is treated separately, taking no account of the cumulative effect of the extra traffic each application would have on our local road network.
