Advertising to be allowed in The Thunderbolt village magazine

Parish Council has agreed to allow limited advertising in The Thunderbolt

Published: 28 February 2020

One of the responsibilities of the Parish Council is to ensure that it uses its funds to the best advantage to the community.

As such, after some discussion the Parish Council has agreed to allow limited advertising in The Thunderbolt to help cover the costs of providing this vital and free village magazine for all residents.

Initially, this opportunity will be afforded to residents from within the parish who own or manage a business and even then, the window for adverts to be placed will close once enough funds have been generated to cover the cost of the publication for the year ahead.

This will ensure that the magazine does not become a directory of adverts and retains its core function of being the parish newsletter.

Attached is a breakdown of the costs to advertise in The Thunderbolt.

No advert will be published until payment has been received and cleared by the Clerk to the Parish Council.

Any adverts submitted for publication must be presented in Word format or by way of a image.

Initial enquiries should be made with the Clerk via clerk@tiffieldparishcouncil.org.uk or on 01327 323195
