DESCRIPTION:Hi all\, \nCan you please give up a couple of hours on the morning of Saturday 28th March\, by volunteering to help on the annual village litter pick and village tidy. \nWe will start in the top room of The George Inn at 10.00am\, where after a short briefing you will be supplied with litter picking equipment and given a part of the village to clean up. \nOnce you’ve done your allocated area\, deposit any rubbish at the back of the phone box next to the Reading Room* and take your litter pickers and any other equipment back to The George Inn. \nFree hot drinks and bacon rolls will be provided at The George\, free of charge\,  for anyone who comes along to help. \nWe look forward to your help and supporting in keeping our village a cleaner and greener place to live. \n* Any large items of rubbish can be left at the roadside. Inform the team at The George of it’s location and they will arrange for its collection. \n  \n

DESCRIPTION:Hopefully\, the weather will be sunny and hot for the annual village BBQ – perfect for sitting in the sun enjoying a few drinks\, good food and great company. \n\n\n\nIf you haven’t been before you bring your own food and use the communal BBQs to cook it. You can bring a gazebo and garden furniture. Below are a few reminders and updates:\n\n\nGazebos can be set up on the Village Green from 10am\n\n\n\nMusic will start at 2pm (potential live singer tbc)\n\n\n\nBBQs will fire up at 4pm (3 BBQs – 1 meat\, 1 vegetarian\, 1 vegan)\n\n\n\n\n\n\nPlease bring a rubbish sack to keep the green clean\n\n\n\nIf you have your own BBQ tools please bring them along\n\n\n\nIt promises to be a fun community event where we can all come together and enjoy our lovely villages alongside our neighbours.

DESCRIPTION:Where: Claydon Fields\n\n\nTime: Gates open at 6.15pm\n\n\nFireworks: 7.00pm\n\n\nPrice: £5.00 for over 16’s and £2.50 for under 16’s.\n\n\n\n\n\nThe display will be accompanied by music as in previous years but will be slightly scaled back due to no longer having use of the field behind to set the fireworks. There will still be plenty of big bangers to ‘Oo and Ah’ at so save the date in your diaries!!\n\n\n\n\n\nFurther info on where to buy your tickets to follow soon!\n\n\n\n\n\nThe Tiffield Parish Council are also looking for volunteers to help out on the night so please contact me if you would like to lend a hand.
