Tiffield & Caldecote Parish Council litter pick and village tidy

Hi all,

Can you please give up a couple of hours on the morning of Saturday 28th March, by volunteering to help on the annual village litter pick and village tidy.

We will start in the top room of The George Inn at 10.00am, where after a short briefing you will be supplied with litter picking equipment and given a part of the village to clean up.

Once you’ve done your allocated area, deposit any rubbish at the back of the phone box next to the Reading Room* and take your litter pickers and any other equipment back to The George Inn.

Free hot drinks and bacon rolls will be provided at The George, free of charge,  for anyone who comes along to help.

We look forward to your help and supporting in keeping our village a cleaner and greener place to live.

* Any large items of rubbish can be left at the roadside. Inform the team at The George of it’s location and they will arrange for its collection.
